Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Milling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Japan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating milling machines, performing precision machining tasks, and ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate milling machines to perform precision cutting and shaping of metal and other materials.
Conduct hexagonal (hexahedral) processing work and flat surface cutting operations with accuracy.
Perform mounting and alignment of cutting tools and workpieces before machining operations.
Select appropriate cutting tools, materials, and machining methods based on job specifications.
Carry out assembly and adjustment of machined parts and mechanical units.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of milling machines and work areas.
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and surrounding work environment before and after operations.
Follow workplace safety protocols and participate in safety and health education programs upon employment.
Identify and report any machine faults, defects, or safety hazards to supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Milling Machine Operator or similar role.
No minimum educational qualification required; however, technical training is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications (preferred).
Familiarity with workpiece setup, tool mounting, and machine calibration.
Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to work in Japan and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
