Job Overview

Boota Dhaliwal and Kiranjit Dhaliwal are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide high-quality personal care and household support services in a private home setting in Chestermere, Alberta. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stable hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of the client.

The successful candidate will work on-site and must be willing to relocate if necessary. Relocation costs may be covered by the employer.

Key Responsibilities

The Home Support Worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive personal care and daily living assistance, including but not limited to:

Personal Care Duties

Administer bedside and personal care
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
Provide toileting assistance
Support mobility and safe transfers
Assist with regular physical activity such as walking or light exercise

Nutrition and Meal Support

Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals
Assist with feeding when required
Monitor dietary needs and restrictions

Household Support

Perform light housekeeping duties
Clean and maintain living areas
Launder clothing and household linens
Iron and mend clothing when necessary
Maintain a safe and organized home environment

General Care Assistance

Provide companionship and emotional support
Observe and report changes in client condition
Maintain dignity, privacy, and respect at all times

Education Requirements

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required

Experience

Previous experience in caregiving, personal support work, or home care is considered an asset
Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring assistance is preferred but not mandatory

Training may be provided to the right candidate.
