Instant Hire is currently recruiting on behalf of a client in the electrical construction industry, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Technician to join their technical team.

Position Overview

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems used in server rooms, data centers, and other power infrastructure environments.

This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in building a career in the electrical engineering and technical services sector. • Office Location: Pioneer, West Region, Singapore
• Project Locations: Various sites across Singapore (Island-wide)
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Break Time: 1 hour and 40 minutes

Employees may be required to travel to different project locations across Singapore depending on project assignments.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Technician, your duties will include:

Installation of Electrical Systems

• Installing and setting up electrical wiring, power distribution systems, and electrical components
• Assisting in the installation of power supply systems and backup generators for server rooms and data centers
• Ensuring electrical installations comply with safety and regulatory standards

Maintenance of Electrical Equipment

• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment
• Ensuring server room power systems operate efficiently and reliably
• Monitoring electrical infrastructure to prevent potential faults or downtime

Troubleshooting and Repairs

• Identifying electrical faults or system malfunctions
• Diagnosing problems affecting power systems and IT infrastructure
• Repairing electrical components and restoring systems to proper working condition

Technical Support

• Supporting senior engineers and technicians during electrical projects
• Assisting with installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Maintaining accurate documentation of work performed and maintenance activities
