The Role

Rogers Distribution Limited is seeking an experienced and reliable Storeman to join its Homewares Department.

This role primarily involves picking, packing, and dispatching box and pallet orders with accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will work within a small but supportive team environment and must demonstrate maturity, motivation, and strong attention to detail.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders (box and pallet orders).
• Lift, transport, and handle loads up to 25kg.
• Ensure all orders are processed within strict deadlines and meet required unit-per-hour output rates.
• Wrap pallets securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare packing slips and dispatch documentation.
• Receive incoming goods, document deliveries, and store stock correctly.
• Manage both inwards and outwards goods efficiently.
• Assist with production tasks as required, depending on operational needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics operations (inwards and outwards goods).
• Current and valid Forklift Licence.
• Reach Truck Licence.
• F-Endorsement (Forklift on Road Endorsement) – desirable.
• Previous experience in a production or FMCG manufacturing environment – advantageous.
• Experience with picker/packer duties.

Required Attributes & Skills

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting (up to 25kg).
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• No historic injuries that would limit performance in a physically demanding environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• High level of efficiency and attention to detail in processing and packing tasks.

• This role involves prolonged standing, frequent walking, bending, and repetitive manual handling.
• The company is not an accredited employer and cannot sponsor work visas.
