Seasonal Job Overview
The 2026 Kiwifruit season runs from March to August. During this period, large volumes of export kiwifruit are processed and loaded onto international cargo vessels.
As a Seasonal Port Logistics Worker, you will support cargo operations by moving, scanning, storing, and loading kiwifruit pallets safely and efficiently. This role offers valuable experience in port operations and international freight handling.
Both day and night shifts are available. Shifts are typically 12 hours in length, offering excellent earning potential.
What You Will Be Doing
In this port logistics role, your daily responsibilities will include:
• Operating pedestrian pallet trucks inside ship holds
• Stowing and securing export kiwifruit pallets
• Scanning freight using digital tracking systems
• Communicating via radio with supervisors and team members
