LAWSGROUP is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to oversee operations within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This is a senior leadership role designed for a results-driven professional with deep expertise in garment manufacturing and factory management.
Key Responsibilities of the General Manager
In this leadership position, you will be entrusted with full operational and strategic responsibilities. Your key duties will include:
- Developing and managing budgets, operational plans, and production programs to ensure optimal utilisation of resources, including equipment, facilities, and workforce
- Driving profitability by designing and implementing effective business strategies aligned with corporate objectives
- Enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring continuous improvement across all production processes
- Leading crisis management initiatives and executing tactical plans to address operational challenges
- Optimising production capacity to ensure efficient inventory management and supply chain flow
Required Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this demanding role, candidates must possess strong technical knowledge and leadership experience within the garment manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Textile Technology, Clothing, or a related discipline
- Extensive hands-on experience in garment manufacturing, covering all aspects of factory operations
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Proven ability to manage large teams and complex production environments
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and operational efficiency
