About the Program:
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi and the Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL) collaborate to offer the IBA-OGDCL Talent Hunt Program, a fully funded Orientation Training Program. The program imparts aptitude skill development and training to capable and deserving students from selected districts of Pakistan for the comprehensive admission process of undergraduate degree programs at the IBA, Karachi.
Eligibility Criteria
Financially deserving students are eligible with either:
- 70% or above marks in the HSSC examination from any Board of Secondary & Intermediate Education of Pakistan in the year 2023 & appearing for the HSSC examination in the year 2024
OR
- 70% or above marks in HSSC examination from any Board of Secondary & Intermediate Education of Pakistan in the year 2023
Program Outlines
Candidates who successfully qualifying the Orientation Assessment test and Interview and wish to pursue an undergraduate degree at IBA Karachi, are encouraged to apply.
Candidates selected on merit and offered admission in undergraduate degree programs will be considered for up to 100% scholarship/arrangements or Garz-e-Husna against tuition fees & other facilities depending upon the need assessment of the student for the mentioned 4-year degree programs on the recommendation of IBA Financial Assistance Committee.

- Sindh
- Balochistan
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Applications won for batch 2024 closed on Friday, March 1, 2024.
Assessment Test will be based on the Matriculation & HSSC Level curriculum. For Test related material visit the website https://ogdclthp.iba.edu.pk/.
The assessment Test will be conducted in Hyderabad, Sukkur, Thatta, Attock Chakwal, Taunsa Dera Ghazi Khan, Kohat, Karak Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Bannu and Jhal Magsi on May 30, 2024.
