Position Overview

Are you a trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker or Coach Builder/Body Builder? Join our dedicated manufacturing team in this exciting full-time role, where you’ll enjoy a 38-hour workweek with an early 10:30 AM finish every Friday and unlimited overtime opportunities!

Key Responsibilities

As a Sheet Metal Worker or Coach Builder, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Fabrication: Create and complete fit-outs for trucks, trailers, shipping containers, and custom mobile kitchens, with specialized training provided.
• Stainless Steel Installation: Fabricate and fit stainless steel bench tops and frames for various projects.
• Equipment Installation: Install equipment in custom-built units to meet client specifications.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Component Trimming: Trim and seal components as needed to ensure quality and compliance.
• Deadline Management: Ensure all work is completed on time and adheres to industry regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Follow OH&S guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• Trade Qualification: A valid trade qualification in Coach/Body Building or Sheet Metal.
• Experience: Prior experience in the RV industry or fit-outs is a plus, particularly with tiny homes.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans, along with proficiency in trimming and sealing techniques.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Confidence in project ownership and the ability to address challenges effectively.
• Knowledge of Safety Guidelines: Familiarity with OH&S guidelines and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
• Tiny Homes Experience: Previous experience building tiny homes is desirable.
