Concrete Pumping Queensland (CPQ) is a family-owned and operated business leading the concrete pumping industry in Central Queensland. With a modern fleet of concrete boom pumps and a focus on both residential and industrial projects, CPQ offers a unique opportunity for skilled Diesel Mechanics.
About the Role
We are seeking two motivated and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team, one based in Rockhampton and one in Emerald. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining our plant and equipment, with the opportunity to train as a Concrete Pump Operator.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on CPQ plant, equipment, machinery, and vehicles as directed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery and mobile equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in machinery.
- Undertake other relevant duties as required.
Ideal Candidate
- Heavy diesel fitter trade qualification.
- Hands-on approach to work.
- Demonstrated experience with concrete pumps (preferred).
- Minimum HR driver’s license.
- Construction Industry White Card.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
- Self-motivated, positive, energetic, and reliable.
