The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Mooreban, Sydney NSW, Australia. You’ll be responsible for interpreting blueprints, preparing materials, and executing precise welds using TIG, MIG, and/or FCAW processes. If you have experience in pipe welding (T13), that’s a major plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, and assemble components according to specifications.
- Welding Expertise: Perform high-quality TIG, MIG, and/or FCAW welding on various metals.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Safety First: Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Essential:
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience
- Vocational Diploma or Certificate in Welding or related field
- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and/or FCAW welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Highly Desired:
- Experience in pipe welding (T13)
- Background in heavy fabrication
