Roofer & Fascia/Gutter Installer Responsibilities
As a Roofer or Fascia & Gutter Installer, your duties will include:
- Install metal roofing systems on new residential homes.
- Install fascia, gutters, downpipes, and rainwater products.
- Ensure all roofing work meets Australian building standards.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Inspect completed installations for quality assurance.
- Identify and resolve installation issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and installation records.
- Work closely with builders, supervisors, and project teams.
- Follow company quality control procedures.
- Operate roofing tools and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
- Deliver projects within required deadlines.
- Provide excellent workmanship and customer service.
Site Supervisor Responsibilities
Site Supervisors will be responsible for:
- Managing roofing installation teams.
- Supervising subcontractors and installers.
- Conducting site measurements.
- Performing pre-installation inspections.
- Completing post-installation quality inspections.
- Monitoring project progress and productivity.
- Ensuring compliance with Australian construction standards.
- Providing technical advice and on-site support.
- Resolving construction and installation issues efficiently.
- Leading workplace safety initiatives.
- Managing digital construction management applications.
- Coordinating with branch managers and project stakeholders.
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within quality standards.
