Key Responsibilities
As a Night Picker Packer, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Accurately pick customer orders using picking slips.
- Identify various meat products quickly and correctly.
- Weigh products according to company specifications.
- Label products accurately before dispatch.
- Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Operate machine strapping equipment safely.
- Prepare customer orders for delivery within strict deadlines.
- Work efficiently in a large refrigerated and temperature-controlled warehouse.
- Maintain product quality and food safety standards at all times.
- Follow warehouse procedures and company policies.
- Lift, carry, and move meat cartons, crates, and boxes safely.
- Keep workstations clean, organised, and hygienic.
- Assist team members during busy production periods.
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets in a just-in-time warehouse environment.
- Report damaged products or equipment to supervisors immediately.
- Wear and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills and Qualifications

- Previous picker packer or warehouse experience (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working in food processing or cold storage warehouses is an advantage.
