About the Role
Randstad Inhouse Services is currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join a leading Amazon Fulfillment Centre in Kemps Creek as Warehouse Storepersons (Pick Packers). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven logistics environment with one of the world’s most recognized e-commerce companies.
This role offers ongoing day shift work, competitive hourly pay, and the opportunity to develop valuable warehouse and logistics skills. No prior experience is required—comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Storeperson (Pick Packer), your daily duties will include:
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders using handheld RF scanners
- Sorting and organizing stock within the warehouse
- Scanning items and updating inventory systems in real-time
- Counting stock and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Loading and unloading goods manually, with items weighing up to 23 kg
- Ensuring all orders are processed efficiently and meet quality standards
- Following strict workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment
Work Environment & Requirements
This position involves working in a busy warehouse/distribution setting. To succeed in this role, you must:
- Be comfortable standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- Be available to work four 10-hour shifts per week, including at least one weekend shift
- Have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Skills & Experience
Essential (No Experience Required):
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of workplace safety
Desirable (Not Mandatory):
- Previous experience as a storeperson, warehouse assistant, picker/packer, or forklift operator
- Familiarity with RF scanning systems
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or distribution environments
