Requirements: Applicants must hold a relevant Trade Certificate and have a minimum of three years of practical experience in pipe fitting or a closely related field. You should be confident in interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the required standards and project guidelines. A strong understanding of fabrication, installation, and assembly processes is essential. Candidates must be able to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team. Strong English communication skills are essential for ensuring safety compliance and effective coordination on-site.
Additional (Preferred but Not Essential): Holding certifications such as First Aid, Confined Space Entry, and Working at Heights will be considered an advantage; however, the company is willing to provide necessary training for suitable candidates who do not yet possess these qualifications. Welding experience or formal welding certifications are also beneficial and will support your ability to perform tasks more efficiently, although they are not mandatory for this role.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidates will be responsible for actively contributing to a safe and compliant worksite by adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies. Daily duties will involve working primarily with stainless steel piping systems, including the assembly and installation of welded and threaded pipes as well as hydraulic tubing systems. You will collaborate closely with welders and other team members to complete pipe systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. Additional responsibilities include conducting pressure testing as required, maintaining accurate welding maps, updating as-built drawings, and ensuring that all work meets strict quality standards and project requirements. Attention to detail, precision, and consistency in workmanship are essential aspects of this role.
Work Schedule: The position requires working 9 hours per day, 5 days per week, providing a stable and structured work routine. There is also the potential for overtime, particularly on Saturdays, depending on project demands and deadlines. This allows for additional earning opportunities and greater involvement in project completion.
