Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Order Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatching of customer orders. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a cool room environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to company standards
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (where licensed)
- Work efficiently in a temperature-controlled (cool room) environment
- Ensure all orders are completed within deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Perform stock handling, labeling, and inventory-related tasks
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required
Work Schedule
- Night shifts starting from 9:00 PM
- Flexible roster with availability to work up to 5 nights per week
Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Comfortable working in cold storage / cool room environments
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Basic computer literacy for order processing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid Forklift Licence (preferred or required)
- A valid MR (Medium Rigid) Licence
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual attitude
