Job Overview
VALINSTALL PLUMBING & DESIGN LTD. is currently seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Plumber Helpers. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for individuals looking to begin or build their career in the plumbing and construction industry. The successful candidates will work directly on-site in Hinton, Alberta, assisting licensed plumbers in residential and commercial plumbing projects.
This role offers practical, hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair services. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn the trade, develop technical skills, and grow within a reputable plumbing company.
Employment Details
- Salary: $4,400 per month
- Hours: 30 hours per week
- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Work Schedule: Morning, Day, and Weekend shifts
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Education & Experience Requirements
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months preferred
- Language Requirement: English
Candidates with basic construction experience or familiarity with hand and power tools will be considered an asset, but training will be provided for suitable applicants.
Key Responsibilities
As a Plumber Helper, you will support licensed plumbers and skilled tradespeople in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Construction & Material Handling
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and plumbing supplies.
- Move tools, equipment, and materials to designated work areas.
- Assist in setting up job sites and preparing workspaces.
Installation Support
- Help in installing plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
- Assist in cutting, measuring, and assembling pipes and fittings.
- Support water supply and drainage system installations.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform pre-operational inspections of tools and equipment.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks under supervision.
Site Safety & Compliance
- Follow workplace safety regulations and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
