Unleash Your Expertise as a Reservoir Engineer at Qatar Energy LNG. QatarEnergy LNG, a global leader in the energy sector, seeks a talented Reservoir Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll play a pivotal role in maximizing production by analyzing and interpreting vital reservoir data. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the success of projects crucial to maintaining our 77 MTPA and 126 MTPA LNG production targets.
Become a Reservoir Data Detective
As a Reservoir Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of data acquisition, evaluation, and interpretation. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team to design and execute reservoir testing programs, analyze production logs, and collect subsurface and surface fluid samples.
Sharpen Your Reservoir Management Skills
Your keen eye will be vital in our Asset Surveillance Teams. You’ll be responsible for identifying and analyzing well and reservoir performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production strategies.
Drive Reservoir Development Projects Forward
You’ll play a key role in compiling data for field development projects, identifying critical data gaps, and ensuring a smooth planning process. You’ll also contribute to the creation and approval of Well Information Summaries, reviewing well-execution plans and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Embrace Continuous Learning and Collaboration
We encourage a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in reservoir studies, refine well-testing and fluid sampling methods. And utilize advanced tools to analyze data and define reservoir parameters. Working closely with stakeholders in Petroleum Engineering and Well & Production Management, you’ll help prioritize data acquisition plans, ensuring we have the information needed to optimize production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering
