Due to increased demand, we are currently seeking experienced and safety-conscious forklift drivers to join our client’s casual ongoing workforce in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

As a forklift operator, your day-to-day duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Safely operating a counterbalance and/or reach forklift.

  • Picking and loading customer orders onto trucks — accuracy and documentation checks required.

  • Unloading deliveries and correctly placing stock in allocated warehouse locations.

  • Following inventory and warehouse storage systems to ensure efficient flow of goods.

  • Performing general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe warehouse.

  • Occasional manual lifting and assistance with general warehouse duties.

  • Adhering to all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

  • A valid forklift license (counterbalance and/or reach).

  • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, production, or distribution setting.

  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills — capable of handling daily warehouse demands.

  • Strong awareness of OH&S procedures and a proactive approach to workplace safety.

  • Two valid working references.

  • Immediate availability to commence work.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Australia.

  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment check if required.

  • Be punctual, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.

  • Physical fitness is important as some manual handling is involved.
