Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining crops
- Grading produce
- Greenhouse cleaning
- Hand harvesting vegetables
- Harvesting seedlings
- Mixing fertilizer
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
- Seed cutting
- Stone and/or wood picking
- Weeding
- Fertilizing and spraying crops
- Harvesting crops
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Performing general farm duties
- Hiring and training staff
- Coordinating and supervising general farm workers and harvesting laborers
- Developing work schedules and establishing procedures
- Providing agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
- Assisting in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
- Supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations
