Position Details

Job Location: Moose Jaw, SK, S6J 1L4
Employment Type: Casual, Part-time leading to Full-time
Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week
Schedule: Day shifts, flexible hours, mornings (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
Wage: $15.50 to $17.00 per hour (to be negotiated based on experience)

Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or a related field

Work Environment

All work must be carried out on-site at our hotel location. Remote work is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities for Maintenance Worker – Building

As a Maintenance Worker, your main duties will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the building, guest rooms, and common areas are safe and in top condition

  • Inspecting facilities regularly to identify issues that require attention

  • Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff

  • Carrying out minor plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling system repairs when needed

  • Monitoring and maintaining building systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns

  • Performing general tasks such as painting, patching walls, replacing light fixtures, and other minor repairs

  • Keeping maintenance tools and equipment organized and in good working order

  • Following health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
