About the Role:
As a Duty Free Store Manager at Qatar Duty Free, you’ll orchestrate a world-class shopping experience within our luxury retail environment. You’ll lead a high-performing team to exceed sales targets and create unforgettable moments for every guest.
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive Excellence: Cultivate a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring your team delivers the “GUEST” standard to all visitors at Hamad International Airport (HIA).
- Maximize Performance: Analyze store KPIs, implement strategies to boost sales, and ensure your team is empowered to achieve their goals.
- Optimize Operations: Collaborate with various departments (marketing, IT, merchandising) to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer journey.
- Maintain Standards: Conduct regular store walks, ensuring impeccable presentation, cleanliness, and adherence to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Develop Talent: Mentor, coach, and inspire your team to reach their full potential. Conduct performance reviews and create personalized development plans.
- Control Shrinkage: Partner with the Retail Manager to minimize losses and safeguard profitability.
- Elevate the Experience: Share insights on product performance with Category Managers, and continuously seek ways to enhance the customer experience.
- Be a Leader: Foster a positive, collaborative environment where team members feel valued and motivated to exceed expectations.
About You:
Essential:
- High School Diploma/Vocational Qualification/Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of retail management experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 4+ years of retail management experience.
- Proven track record of leading teams, driving sales, and achieving results in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- Experience managing teams of 50-200 employees.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in the Middle East, international luxury retail, or within a duty-free or airport setting.
