The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Diploma Room Leader to join our dynamic team in Harwood. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children while enjoying the benefits of a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development: Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs that stimulate children’s growth and learning.
• Safe Learning Environment: Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued and engaged.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the wider community to enhance the educational experience.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to service policies, procedures, and childcare regulations to maintain a high standard of care.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development, tracking milestones and achievements.
• Team Support: Contribute positively to the team culture, providing support to fellow educators and sharing best practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Room Leader in a childcare setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and support your team.
• A valid Working with Children Check.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to the Clarence River region.
