Position: Housekeeping/ cleaner light duty / laundry attendant

Location: Welland, ON
Salary: $17 to 18.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Relevant.

Cleaner light duty / Housekeeper/ laundry attendant Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Clean and disinfect elevators
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Mend clothing and linens
• Launder clothing and household linens

Credentials:

• Housekeeping room attendant certification
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Additional Information:

• Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract), Reference required
• Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle
