Position: Cleaner, Light Duty

Salary: $18.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Cleaner Light Duty Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
Dust furniture
Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
Make beds and change sheets
Distribute clean towels and toiletries
Stock linen closet
Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Clean and disinfect elevators
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Mend clothing and linens
Launder clothing and household linens

Credentials:

Housekeeping room attendant certification
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Additional Information:

Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract), Reference required
Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle
