Job Overview

MBC Human Resources Development Corporation is seeking skilled and experienced Shipbuilding Welders for employment in Japan. Successful applicants will be responsible for performing welding, grinding, and assembly works related to shipbuilding and ship structure fabrication.

Candidates must have extensive shipbuilding experience, strong technical welding skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in heavy industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding works for shipbuilding and ship structure fabrication.
  • Set up and assemble shipbuilding blocks and steel structures.
  • Conduct grinding and finishing works on welded surfaces and ship components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding plans.
  • Operate welding and grinding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
  • Follow Japanese workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and fabrication teams during production operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Shipbuilding Welder.
  • Must be at least a High School Graduate.
  • Must be an Ex-Japan worker with complete employment certificates and supporting documents.
  • With NK Skill Test Certification preferred.
  • Must have completed Special Education for Arc Welding.
  • Must have completed Gas Welding Skills Training.
  • Must have completed Special Education for Free Grinding.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in demanding shipyard environments.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
