Role Summary: Delivering Exceptional Nighttime Guest Experience

The Night Receptionist is responsible for providing seamless night-hour reception services, ensuring an exceptional Guest experience from check-in through check-out. A crucial component of this role is completing necessary night audit procedures accurately and efficiently. This position contributes significantly to the first and last impressions Guests have of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Night Receptionist must perform all tasks to the highest standards of Hilton brand policy and customer service.

  • Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Ensure an efficient reception experience, including check-in/check-out processes, and complete required audit procedures.

  • Keep the Night Manager and Night Reception Supervisors fully informed of relevant feedback from Guests and other departments.

  • Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

  • Attend relevant training and assist with the Night Team’s training and development.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and general product knowledge.

  • Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.

  • Follow correct procedures for accepting foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to the hotel credit policy.

  • Act in accordance with policies when operating front of house equipment and property management systems.

  • Adhere strictly to company brand standards and assist other departments when necessary.
