About the Role

Lovich Floors Ltd, a trusted name in Auckland’s commercial flooring industry for over 30 years, is looking for a Warehouse Assistant / Driver to join our energetic and hands-on team based in Mount Eden. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, physical work, and being on the road delivering materials to job sites across the Auckland region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the safe, tidy, and efficient operation of the warehouse

  • Prepare flooring materials (carpet, vinyl, timber) accurately for customer delivery or collection

  • Deliver materials to client sites on schedule to support planned installations

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles and assist with stock movement

  • Participate in regular stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy

  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a clean and organized warehouse environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Physically fit and capable of handling bulky and heavy items (up to 25 kg)

  • A current full New Zealand driver’s licence, with confidence driving manual vehicles

  • Some experience driving lightweight trucks is a strong advantage

  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

  • Willingness to take initiative and complete tasks proactively

  • Familiarity with Auckland’s roads and geography (navigation devices provided)

  • Neat personal presentation and professionalism when interacting with clients

  • A forklift licence is preferred but not essential – training can be provided

  • Any practical handyman skills is bonus.
