Welder Position 2024 (V-57119-9) – Ferndown,

Salary: £16.50 – £19.00 per hour

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team in Ferndown, offering expertise in TIG welding and working with precision. This role requires experience in handling fine tolerances and thin-gauge materials, primarily stainless steel with occasional work on copper and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform high-quality TIG welding on thin materials (as thin as 0.5mm)
• Assemble and join high-precision components for critical sectors
• Work predominantly with stainless steel, and sometimes with copper and aluminium
• Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
• Conduct inspections on finished welds
• Apply a ‘quality over quantity’ mindset in all tasks
• Experience in Orbital Welding is a plus, but training is available
• Preferred experience in aerospace, nuclear, or defence industries
