We’re Hiring a Welder:
Tech Trade Recruitment company is seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team in at New Zealand. This is a full-time, entry-level position with excellent growth potential within a well-established company.
Your Role:
As a Welder at Atkore, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of our diverse product range. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safety First: Adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Workstation Setup: Preparing your welding station for daily tasks, including equipment checks, material organization, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Order Fulfillment: Collaborating with your supervisor to prioritize and complete welding orders efficiently.
- Material Preparation: Laying out, positioning, aligning, and securing parts and assemblies using precision tools and jigs.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting drawings and diagrams to determine material requirements and appropriate welding techniques.
Your Skills and Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Aluminum Welding Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in aluminum welding techniques.
- Versatile Welding Skills: Experience in Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), MMAW (stick), and GTAW (tig), primarily with steel and stainless steel.
- Safety Focus: A strong understanding of workplace safety practices and the ability to implement them effectively.
