About the roles
We are inviting skilled welders and fabricators to apply for multiple positions with reputable employers across New Zealand. Roles cover MIG, TIG, ARC and structural welding, pipe welding, and fabrication work in workshops, shipyards and construction sites. Opportunities suit experienced tradespeople and competent entry-level workers who can demonstrate practical welding skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding specifications.

  • Perform MIG, TIG, ARC and structural welding to required standards.

  • Fit, assemble and fabricate metal structures and piping.

  • Inspect welds and complete quality checks; maintain workmanship records.

  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and basic workshop tools.

  • Follow health, safety and site-specific work procedures.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year practical welding/fabrication experience preferred (entry-level considered with demonstrable skills).

  • Ability to work to specifications and maintain quality standards.

  • Able to work in outdoor and workshop environments; physically fit for manual tasks.

  • Good communication skills; basic English for on-site safety instruction recommended.

  • Relevant certifications or trade tickets an advantage (but not mandatory for all roles).

  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks (drug test and background as required) and hold or obtain any required local work authorisation.
