Role Overview

As a Truck Welder Fabricator, you will work in a clean, organized, and non-repetitive environment, handling various aspects of truck body building, welding, and fabrication. This full-time, permanent role offers competitive hourly pay and a work-life balance with an early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

• Truck Body Welding and Fabrication: Weld and fabricate truck chassis and bodies according to customer specifications.
• Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings to execute precise fabrication.
• Fabricating Factory Tippers: Manufacture custom tippers with expert handling.
• Towbar Fitting and Welding: Fit and weld towbars with precision.
• Mechanical Assembly: Dismantle and assemble components in a mechanical workshop setting.
• Use of Specialized Equipment: Operate welding and metalworking tools to exact standards.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in Sheetmetal or Fabrication: Skilled in truck body fabrication and working with various metals.
• Proficient in TIG/MIG Welding: Skilled in TIG/MIG welding processes.
• Strong Mechanical Knowledge: Ability to read and apply mechanical concepts effectively.
• Technical Drawing Knowledge: Able to read and work from technical drawings; measuring, marking, and cutting accurately.
• Detail-Oriented: Precision and attention to detail with pride in craftsmanship.
• Driver’s License: Preferred but not required for this role.
