Job Overview: HR Truck Driver – Perth and Bunbury Regions
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified HR Truck Driver to be a key part of our team, responsible for transporting our manufactured building products from our Jandakot facility to multiple sites. This role ensures that BGC products are delivered efficiently, on time, and in excellent condition.
Position Details:
- Location: Jandakot, Perth WA
- Industry: Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
- Work Type: Permanent Full-Time
- Hours: 38-hour work week (Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am – 1:30 pm, Fridays, 5:00 am – 11:00 am)
- Overtime: Available, depending on workload demands
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload items including window frames, sashes, and glass for timely delivery.
- Product Delivery: Transport products to various residential and commercial building sites across Perth and Bunbury.
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Drive HR vehicles to meet delivery targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Forklift and Gantry Crane Operations: Operate a forklift and gantry crane as needed (desired but not essential).
- Inventory Management: Assist with warehousing and storage to ensure efficient stock management.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Driver’s License: HR-B (manual) license is mandatory; HC or MC license preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience operating HR vehicles for safe and reliable delivery.
- Forklift and Crane Operation: Forklift and gantry crane certification is desirable.
- White Card: WA White Card (required).
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
