Position: Staff – Finance and Accounting Department
Future Asset Management KK (FAM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gunkul Engineering Public Company Limited (GUNKUL), one of Southeast Asia’s leading companies in renewable energy and engineering solutions. Based in Japan, FAM specializes in Asset Management and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of renewable energy assets, including large-scale solar power plants.
We currently oversee two major solar power facilities and continue to expand our investment portfolio across Japan. As our operations grow, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Finance and Accounting team in Tokyo.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate daily bookkeeping records and ensure proper financial documentation.

Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.

Prepare, verify, and initiate online banking applications, payments, and related financial procedures.

Support internal workflows, including payment approvals, expense reimbursements, and financial controls.

Coordinate with external stakeholders such as accounting firms, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and documents required by management.

Support general administration tasks related to finance and accounting, as assigned.

Contribute to process improvements, compliance activities, and financial accuracy across the department.
Qualifications

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.

Educational background in Japan is an advantage.

Age:
-
22–30 years old.

Experience:
-
0–5 years of relevant work experience.
-
Experience in accounting, finance, asset management, or renewable energy is an added advantage.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in Japanese or English is required.

Candidates strong in Japanese do not need English proficiency.

English-speaking candidates are welcome but must be willing to study Japanese.

Technical Skills:

Good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other essential office software.

Ability to learn new financial tools and systems as required.
