About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Worker (Samples/Edging Team Member) to join our dynamic manufacturing team at East Tamaki. This position is central to ensuring that our customers receive premium products and accurate samples that reflect our brand’s superior quality standards.
>In this hands-on role, you will work collaboratively within a close-knit team to operate machinery, manage inventory, and support day-to-day production processes. The role requires a combination of technical aptitude, attention to detail, and physical fitness.
Your responsibilities will include:
Samples Section
- Operating a range of modern machinery to manufacture high-quality product samples.
- Accurately fulfilling client sample orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintaining organized stock levels and assisting with restocking and replenishment activities.
- Ensuring samples meet company specifications, presentation standards, and quality benchmarks.
Edging Section
- Picking and packing edging materials as per production requirements.
- Operating pre-gluing and slitting machines to prepare materials efficiently and safely.
- Assisting in the coordination of workflow to meet production schedules and client deadlines.
- Conducting regular quality checks to ensure the precision and accuracy of edging materials.
Inventory Management
- Monitoring stock movement and reporting discrepancies promptly.
- Supporting the team with inventory counts, labelling, and material traceability.
- Keeping work areas organized and compliant with health and safety protocols.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should be a reliable, motivated, and physically fit individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be on your feet for most of the day, lifting and handling various materials, so stamina and awareness of workplace safety are essential.
