About the Role:

This full-time position is based at our Batemans Bay Depot. You’ll play a vital role in construction and maintenance projects, operating various machinery and performing physical labor tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a range of plant equipment.
• Collaborate with the Works team, contractors, and subcontractors on construction and maintenance projects.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement and quality of Council’s services.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in the safe and proper use of plant and machinery.
• Ability to perform physical labor tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills and clear communication abilities.
• Experience in a construction/maintenance environment is a plus.
• Good literacy/numeracy skills and a willingness to participate in further training.
