Pinaroo Roma Inc. is a not-for-profit aged care facility located in the heart of Roma, Queensland. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight. This position offers a Pathway to Permanent Residency sponsorship for the right candidate.

Our facility provides 71 beds for residential care, where our skilled staff not only deliver expert care but also foster a warm, friendly environment for our residents. We focus on addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each individual, encouraging them to reach their full potential in a supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Assess, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate: Deliver comprehensive care for our residents, ensuring their health and wellbeing.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation as per aged care standards.
• Collaborate with Staff: Inspire and support fellow team members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Leadership Qualities: Demonstrate leadership in clinical practices and uphold the facility’s values and standards.
• Shift Flexibility: Work morning, afternoon, and night shifts as required, adapting to the needs of the facility.

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• Current Nursing Registration: Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience in Aged Care: Previous experience in aged care is highly desirable, but all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
• Commitment to Care: A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly population.
• Police Clearance: Ability to pass a current national police clearance.
