Punchbowl PackCo Ltd is expanding, and we are excited to offer two permanent full-time Orchard Supervisor roles in our kiwifruit orchards located in Patumahoe, South Auckland.

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about horticulture, enjoy working with people, and want to develop leadership skills within a supportive and growth-focused environment.

About the Role

Due to continued growth across our orchard operations, we are seeking two Orchard Supervisors to join our dedicated team.

As an Orchard Supervisor, you will report directly to the Orchard Manager and be responsible for overseeing day-to-day orchard operations. Your role will include:

  • Supervising, motivating, and supporting a diverse team in a fast-paced orchard environment.

  • Providing training, sharing knowledge, and fostering a strong, positive team culture.

  • Ensuring orchard tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Accurately maintaining orchard records, including electronic timesheets, piece-rate calculations, and task reports.

  • Operating and overseeing the safe use of orchard tools, machinery, and tractors.

  • Promoting and upholding health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

About You

We are looking for people who are not only skilled but also enthusiastic leaders who thrive in a hands-on role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Practical, hands-on experience in kiwifruit orchard operations (including winter pruning, thinning, and other seasonal tasks).

  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • Good working knowledge of orchard equipment, tools, and tractor operations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

  • Legal entitlement to work in New Zealand.

  • A current New Zealand driver’s licence (preferred).
