Key Responsibilities for MIG welder Opportunity
- MIG Welding & Fabrication: Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings, working independently to achieve company and customer standards. This includes tacking, down-hand, vertical, overhead, and vertical-up welding.
- Material Handling: Work with varied metals such as mild steel, Zintec, and aluminium sheets in thicknesses ranging from 1mm to 6mm.
- Cutting & Drilling: Perform plasma and oxy-acetylene cutting, drilling, jig-making, and assembly work per engineering specifications.
- Quality & Safety Compliance: Maintain a high standard of health and safety practices and ensure quality work is completed within set timelines.

Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year of MIG welding and fabrication experience, with skills in reading technical drawings and working independently.
- Prior experience with heavy plant or construction equipment is advantageous.
- An interest in auto repair, lorries, and heavy machinery is a plus.
