Experienced Welder – MIG, TIG, and More! – Immediate Night Shift Start

We are seeking an experienced welder proficient in MIG, TIG, ARC, and Flux Core welding techniques to join our client’s team in Mount Albert. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled welder to work on an exciting project with great potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, and Flux Core welding on components according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Inspect and assess sections for defects and repair as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Must have the right to work in New Zealand without visa sponsorship.
  • Proven experience as a welder, preferably in rail, heavy machinery, or fit-outs.
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding is a MUST. Experience with ARC and Flux Core is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Welding certification is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and weld test.
  • Site Safe certification is a plus.
