Role Overview for Meat Pick Packer
As a Meat Picker & Packer, you will play a crucial role in preparing meat orders for delivery to customers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a cold storage environment.
Key Responsibilities for Meat Pick Packer

Accurately pick, weigh, and pack meat products in accordance with customer orders

Carefully label and seal packages while following food safety standards

Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and hygiene requirements

Operate basic processing and packing machinery in a safe and responsible manner

Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with company and health regulations

Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production and dispatch targets

Adhere strictly to OH&S and food safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For

Physically fit – must be able to lift up to 25kg and handle repetitive manual tasks

Comfortable working in cold environments (chilled storage areas)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated

Previous experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, or warehousing is highly regarded but not essential

Must be available for early morning shifts and occasional Saturdays

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
