Experience

Required: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience operating machine tools or CNC machinery in an industrial or production setting.
Responsibilities
As a Machining Tool Operator, you will be responsible for:

Setting up and operating a variety of conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders.

Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

Measuring and verifying dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.

Monitoring machine operation and adjusting as needed to maintain product quality and efficiency.

Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools.

Ensuring safety procedures and company quality standards are followed at all times.

Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Skills and Competencies

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Knowledge of machining processes and materials.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Familiarity with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

Basic computer literacy for CNC controls and production tracking.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
