Jaspreet Singh and Varinder Kaur are seeking a responsible, caring, and experienced Live-in Nanny to join their household in Surrey, British Columbia. Language Requirements

Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with children and parents, and to carry out day-to-day childcare and household duties.

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare, preferably as a nanny, babysitter, or daycare assistant.

• Training: First Aid and CPR certification are considered strong assets.

Work Environment

This is a live-in position, meaning accommodation will be provided at the employer’s home. The candidate must be comfortable living with the family and participating in household routines. Work must be completed at the employer’s physical location — remote work is not available.

Key Responsibilities

The Live-in Nanny will be responsible for the overall care and supervision of the children, ensuring they are safe, healthy, and engaged in positive activities. Duties include:

• Childcare and Development:

  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.

  • Supervise and care for children during the day and occasionally at night if required.

  • Instruct children in personal hygiene, manners, and social development.

  • Organize and participate in educational games and creative activities.

• Meal Preparation:

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs.

  • Encourage healthy eating habits.

• Education and Discipline:

  • Support early learning by reading stories, teaching numbers, colors, and simple words.

  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents.

  • Foster a respectful and structured home environment.

• Household Support:

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in children’s rooms and play areas.

  • Wash and fold children’s clothes as needed.

  • Assist with light household duties related to childcare.
