🔹 1. Window Cleaner – Full-Time

Role Overview

As a Window Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for cleaning windows in residential homes, commercial premises, and retirement villages across Canterbury. You’ll use traditional methods such as blading and hand-washing to meet our high standards – the Genie Clean Sparkle Guarantee.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Travel to various sites daily with your team to clean exterior and interior windows

  • Assist in building washdowns, gutter cleaning, and construction site cleans when needed

  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and ensure all tools and materials are secure and hygienic

  • Follow and promote all health and safety procedures and company protocols

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on-site to deliver exceptional service

  • Report any equipment maintenance or damage to the office team promptly

What We’re Looking For:

  • Physically fit with the ability to work on ladders and perform manual tasks

  • Friendly, positive attitude and strong team spirit

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results

  • Experience in window cleaning (preferred, but not essential – training provided)

  • Sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards

  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours

  • Must hold a full and valid NZ driver’s license

🔹 2. Cleaner – Full-Time

Role Overview

We’re also seeking dedicated Cleaners to work on new builds, refurbishment projects, apartment complexes, and perform regular commercial/office cleaning throughout the week. This is a hands-on role requiring motivation, reliability, and a great work ethic.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Travel with your cleaning team to assigned job sites

  • Conduct detailed post-construction cleans in townhouses, offices, and residential properties

  • Dispose of waste and used materials responsibly after each job

  • Notify management of supply shortages, equipment issues, or client concerns

  • Ensure cleanliness of vehicles and tools at the end of each day

  • Follow all workplace safety guidelines and maintain compliance with industry standards

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but not essential – we offer full training

  • Physically fit and able to manage demanding cleaning tasks

  • Dependable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards

  • Valid NZ driver’s license is essential
