Job Summary

Tapestry Collection by Hilton is seeking an experienced Hotel Managing Supervisor to oversee operations and staff at our Mississauga location. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.00 and requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working under pressure and managing tight deadlines. This supervisory position will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and overseeing a team of 5-10 people.

Job Responsibilities

As the Hotel Managing Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Supervision and Coordination: Assign, coordinate, and review work of the hotel staff, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality guest services.
  • Guest Assistance: Assist clients and guests with special needs or requests.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and evaluate staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain an efficient work environment.
  • Operational Maintenance: Maintain the functionality of computer systems, equipment, and machinery; arrange repair work as needed to ensure business continuity.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Manage requisitions for materials and supplies to support daily operations.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and a client-focused approach to resolve issues effectively and enhance guest satisfaction.

Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 employees, ensuring effective teamwork and maintaining high standards in service delivery.

Requirements

  • Location: All responsibilities must be completed on-site; remote work is not available.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
  • Eligibility:
    • Canadian citizens, permanent or temporary residents.
