Overview:
Join the dedicated team at Cozy Manor as a Health Care Aide in the nurturing environment of our nursing home/home for the aged.
Qualifications:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
As a Health Care Aide, your tasks will include:
- Taking patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Serving meal trays and feeding patients
- Making beds and maintaining patients’ rooms
- Supervising patients’ exercise routines
- Administering suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas
- Maintaining inventory of supplies
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Assisting with the set-up and maintenance of traction equipment
- Transporting patients between care facilities
- Accompanying patients on outside recreational activities
- Administering first aid in emergency situations
Credentials:
- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Nursing Aide Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
