About the Role:

As a Grower, you will be integral to our indoor farming operations, ensuring the successful cultivation and maintenance of hydroponically grown crops and mushrooms. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to sustainable agriculture and innovative food production methods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Management: Plant, transplant, prune, and harvest a diverse range of crops, including leafy greens, herbs, microgreens, and edible flowers, while also harvesting mushrooms to meet production demands.
• Hydroponic Systems Maintenance: Operate and maintain advanced hydroponic systems, including nutrient delivery mechanisms and environmental controls, to optimize growing conditions for our crops.
• Sanitation and Health Checks: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning and sanitation, as well as conduct regular examinations of plant health to ensure optimal growth.
• Equipment Care: Ensure that mushroom growing equipment and spawn are maintained in excellent condition to support high-quality production.
• Collaboration and Team Support: Work closely with team members to implement best practices, troubleshoot growing issues, and achieve production targets efficiently.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in hydroponic farming or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidates.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork Skills: Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster a positive working environment.
