We are currently expanding our operations and are seeking motivated Geophysical Loggers to join our team, with multiple positions available for a January 2025 start.
Position Overview
As a Geophysical Wireline Logger, you will be part of a team that operates in the field, conducting essential logging services that support resource exploration and geotechnical investigations. Our typical rosters are structured as 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, or 2 weeks on, 1 week off, depending on client requirements, with flexibility available to accommodate your preferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate wireline logging equipment to gather data crucial for mineral exploration.
- Conduct logging services using advanced geophysical tools and techniques.
- Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges encountered in the field.
- Pass the necessary radiation user licence for operating sealed radioactive sources (approximately Year 11 maths standard).
Qualifications and Skills
We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, particularly those with experience in mechanical or electrical trades, or mining. Comprehensive training will be provided at our Black Forest headquarters in Adelaide, followed by hands-on training in the field. Successful candidates will ideally possess:
- A full, clean driver’s license with the ability to drive manual vehicles (truck licenses are advantageous).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
- A dedication to adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Previous exposure to mining or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.

Candidates must successfully complete a medical assessment and a police clearance check as part of the selection process. Regular alcohol and drug testing will also be a requirement for this position.
