C.B. Landscaping Inc., a professional landscaping contractor based in Skead, Ontario (P0M 2Y0), is currently hiring General Labourers – Landscaping for its seasonal operations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes, and are physically fit to handle the demands of the job.

  • Position Type: Full-time, Seasonal

  • Work Schedule: 40–44 hours per week, with overtime opportunities

  • Wage: $22.50 per hour

  • Start Date: August 26, 2025

  • Work Location: On-site at various landscaping projects (no remote option)

  • English or French

Education & Experience

  • Education: No formal degree, diploma, or certificate required

  • Experience: Experience is considered an asset, but not mandatory. Training will be provided to the right candidates.

Work Environment

This role is fully on-site and requires outdoor work in various weather conditions. You may be assigned to:

  • Residential and commercial landscaping projects

  • Parks and recreational sites

  • General landscape maintenance for different clients and locations

The work can be physically demanding but also rewarding for those who enjoy hands-on tasks and working in nature.

Key Responsibilities

As a General Labourer – Landscaping, you will assist the landscaping team with day-to-day tasks such as:

  • Supporting landscape construction projects

  • Raking, collecting, and disposing of refuse and yard waste

  • Transporting and spreading soil, mulch, gravel, and other materials

  • Laying sod or seeding lawns

  • Planting flowers, shrubs, bulbs, and trees

  • Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools

  • Performing tree removal when necessary

  • Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are met at all worksites

Equipment & Tools Experience (Asset but not required)

  • Pick-up truck

  • Sod cutter

  • Weed trimmer / edger

  • General landscaping machinery and hand tools

Requirements & Additional Information

Security & Safety

  • Must undergo a criminal record check

  • Must provide a valid driver’s licence and a driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/Travel

  • Personal vehicle required

  • Employer may provide a vehicle for specific job duties

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities

The position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials

  • Endurance for outdoor work in varied weather conditions
