About the Company
Our client, based in Broadmeadows, is a respected manufacturing leader, specializing in designing and producing high-quality interior solutions for some of Australia’s top transport companies. Their large, modern facility is equipped with cutting-edge equipment and a strong focus on craftsmanship and safety.
They are currently seeking a reliable and motivated General Hand / Factory Metal Worker to join their dedicated team. This opportunity comes with a unique work schedule – a 38-hour week spread across four days, giving you every Friday off.
What We’re Looking For

Recent experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment

Confidence in using hand tools, power tools, and air tools

Ability to read and follow basic technical instructions and drawings

Strong attention to detail with a proven record of producing quality workmanship

Previous experience in metal assembly or fabrication will be highly regarded

A commitment to maintaining safe work practices in line with all WHS policies

A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Your Key Responsibilities

Performing a variety of tasks within the factory – full training provided

Cutting, preparing, and fabricating metal components
-
Assembling products based on design and production requirements

Supporting other production departments when required

Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
