Job Responsibilities

As a General Farm Worker with Vandenberg Feeders Ltd., you will be responsible for various tasks essential to the smooth operation of our farm. These tasks include:

• Animal Care: Feeding and tending to animals, with a focus on beef cattle.
• Farm Machinery Operation: Operating, maintaining, and cleaning farm machinery and equipment.
• Facility Upkeep: Cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• General Maintenance: Maintaining equipment, machinery, and farm buildings to ensure operational efficiency.
• Fence Management: Performing upkeep on fences as needed to secure farm animals.

The ideal candidate will have sound judgment and initiative, and be comfortable working in a rural, outdoor setting.

Requirements

• Location: Work must be completed at the farm location; remote work is not available.
• Experience: 1 to 7 months of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligibility:
  • Canadian citizens, permanent or temporary residents.
