Experienced Flatbed Truck Driver Needed

Location: Georgetown, ON
Salary: $27.00 to $28.00 hourly (negotiable) | Full-time | Permanent

Overview:

Ready Go Transport Inc., a leading transportation company, is looking to hire an experienced Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team in Georgetown, ON. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate flatbed trucks to transport goods to various locations.
• Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism.
• Load and unload goods efficiently.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, including inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs when necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure the safety and security of cargo by properly tarping and securing it.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in flatbed truck driving.
• Valid AZ class license with Air Brakes Endorsement.
• Documentation knowledge, including accident/incident reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
• Experience operating GPS and other navigation equipment.
• Physically capable of handling heavy loads (more than 45 kg or 100 lbs) and sitting for extended periods.
• Personal suitability: excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
